Admission Process

  • Admissions in all the classes are usually held in January for the following academic year for which the registration should be done on the prescribed form.
  • Pupils seeking admission to Pre-Nursery and Nursery classes should be minimum 2 years & 3 years of age respectively as on 1st March of the Academic session.
  • After acceptance of the Registration form, the pupil along with his/her parents will have a brief interactive session. Those seeking admission to K.G. I and above will have to appear for a written test also. Admission will depend on the result of the test and the interactive session, depending on the number of seats available in the class concerned.
  • Pupils seeking admission from Class I to Class IX will have to appear for a written test. Entrance test is held in English, Maths and Hindi. Admission is granted on the basis of entrance test and a subsequent interview with the student, accompanied by the parents.

Entry Requirements

The following documents are necessary at the time of admission.

  • Photocopy of the Municipal Birth Certificate and Aadhar Card of the child
  • Duly filled registration form with the pupil's photograph and a family photograph
  • Report card of the last school attended (for classes KG II onwards )
  • Transfer certificate (For Classes II onwards)
  • Photocopy of Aadhar Card of both parents

Fee

  • The fee is acceptable by cheque drawn on a local bank. The last date of payment is the 10th of every month.
  • Outstation cheques will not be accepted
  • Kindly refer to the fee bill for further details

Conduct & Discipline

The school emphasizes on self-discipline as without discipline it is not possible to achieve excellence. We imbibe a sense of good manners & behaviour in each student. In extreme or repeated case of indiscipline, the school may be compelled to expel a student, for the well being of other students.

General Rules of Discipline

  • Students are urged to contribute to the high tone of the school by their manners and general behaviour. Hence, for the smooth running of the school, no student should bring to school any object liable to prove a source of disturbance.
  • As far as cleanliness,silence,politeness,honesty,attention to work and respect to teachers and companions are concerned,the school should be looked upon as a place of reverence and discipline.
  • Absolute silence must be maintained at all places during the teaching hours,whether it is library,laboratory,computer lab,the general assembly or on way to and from the classrooms.
  • It is compulsory to speak in English in the premises in order to facilitate the students the use of the medium of instruction.They should maintain a high standard in their conversation.
  • Students who are given responsibility should carry it out dutifully, impartially and in accordance with the direction of the Principal or the teacher deputed by her.
  • The school maintains high ideals of discipline. The students are expected to be polite and courteous to their juniors,peers,teachers and elders.
  • The students must come to school neatly dressed in proper approved uniform.
  • If the students indulge in any act of indiscipline they will be severely dealt with. Such acts ,if repeated,may lead to rustication from the school. The parents are requested to co-operate with the school authorities by following and respecting the rules and regulations. They should refrain from criticizing teachers or school in the presence of the child. Violation/Disregard of school rules or misbehaviour is viewed as a serious breach of discipline.
  • Once the student enters the premises,she/he will not be allowed to leave school without the Principal's permission.

Attendance

The students are expected to be punctual and regular to school. They should not be absent without informing the school via email or a formal leave letter.If any child is absent for a week without information, his/her name will be struck off the school roll.If a student is absent on medical grounds, the parent/guardian should send an application.When the child rejoins, Medical Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner/C.M.O should be furnished. A child will be granted a maximum of two days' leave for attending a family function.
Students of Class X,whose attendance is less than 75% are not eligible to appear for the Board exams.To encourage students to be regular to school,a special prize and certificate for 100% attendance is awarded at the end of the session. A minimum of 75% attendance is necessary to be permitted to appear for the final examination and to be considered for promotion to the next class.

Parent Teacher Meeting

  • Parent Teacher meetings are held regularly.
  • Parents/guardians are requested to make use of this opportunity to meet the teachers and discuss the progress of their children.This will enable the teacher to understand the students better and consequently pay special attention to their needs.
  • As far as possible,all requests to meet the teachers to discuss the course or any other matter pertaining to studies should be kept for the Parent Teacher meeting. In urgent cases, the Principal's permission is needed to meet the teachers in the school.
